A 9”-10” plate would fit nicely for the village scene if you didn’t want the border. Enlarge or reduce as desired. PAINT: DecoArt Americana Acrylic Antique Maroon, Burlap, Burnt Umber, Deep Midnight Blue, Graphite, Grey Sky, Hauser Light Green, Hauser Medium Green, Heritage Brick, Khaki Tan, Midnight Green, Olive Green, Raw Sienna, Slate Grey, Snow White, Traditional Burnt Umber, Uniform Blue, Winter Blue, Yellow Ochre (or Moon Yellow), Zinc NOTE: If painting holly border you will also need Fiery Red (NEON), Scarlet, and Tomato Red or similar values. BRUSHES: Unless other wise stated, use good quality brushes 1” wash Small flats 1-8 for base coating elements 18/0, 6/0, and maybe 00 script liners. Small ¼” deerfoot or stipple brush (optional) Size 4 filbert ½” angle brush or what you float with Old size 4 flat for fir trees (size 2 or ornament) OTHER SUPPLIES: Multi-Purpose Sealer by DecoArt White Graphite and a chalk pencil Palette knife Stylus 3M P320 Flexible Sandpaper or 600/wet/dry sandpaper DuraClear ULTRA-MATTE Varnish by DecoArt or choice.
